About the ECL

The Emerald City League is an outstanding high school athletic conference located in the greater Seattle Area. The league is comprised of nine schools, most independent private schools who perform very well in athletics as well as the classroom.

It is a league of champions, with many of our schools competing for, and often claiming, state championships every year. The ECL is a league of respectful athletes and coaches who have among the fewest sportsmanship incidents in the state each year. It is a league which prepares many of our athletes for college sports as the ECL can claim alums in current college programs, including the Division 1 level. 

Most importantly the ECL builds values through competitive team athletic experiences which prepare our students for life well beyond high school.
